Looking Glass
We are a local voluntary group that gives slide shows and talks about Rayleigh’s rich and varied history.
Talks are given to local clubs, groups, organisations and societies and the slides are taken from
our archive of over 5000 images dating from 1880 to the present.
We also advise on the town’s Heritage Plaques and we now act as Footpath Representative for Rayleigh Town Council.
Funds are raised for local charities and good causes.
We have been successful with 3 Lottery grants (1 from Awards for All and 2 from Grassroots Grants Essex).
